Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

OUTCOMES: 1. By the end of this project, I will complete 52 new abstract embroideries. 2. I will have completed a year of consistent studio practice, creating growth in my social media following and momentum for bigger projects. 3. These embroideries will be the next step in my artistic career as I will have a new body of work to apply to exhibitions with. PERSONAL GOAL: As I focus my attention on my experiences and internal battles, I learn more about myself and uncover memories and feelings that have been repressed. Through this work, I will continue healing and finding mechanisms to cope with my mental health disorders and I will create a consistent pattern of studio practice. LONG-TERM COMMUNITY GOAL: While this project is primarily a personal challenge, I will be creating work that raises awareness and destigmatizes mental health disorders that I hope to exhibit in the Arrowhead Region and beyond. I will know I have been successful if by October 1, 2022, I have a collection of 64 completed abstract embroideries which create a chronological reflection of the journey of forging a new path of intention in my artistic career. Further, I will find a tangible measure of success in the growth I will see on social media platforms in terms of followers and interactions metrics. I have the goal to grow my social media following to at least 2,000 (I am currently at 342) by October 2022.
