The plan for reaching my goals comes in two parts. Part one is creating sale-ready prints through touch-ups in Adobe Photoshop. I will touch up four to five large scale drawings that I will have completed in the winter and spring of 2024. I will have 25 prints made from CPL Imaging. I aim to be proficient in making edits to my drawings by July. To gain proficiency, I will take two Domestika online courses, and practice by myself. By mid-July, I will finalize the quality of my edits with help from Cuyler Dinegan, a Minneapolis-based graphic artist and illustrator. Cuyler has digitally edited my drawings and artists statements in the past. Next I will submit a print request to CPL Imaging. The second part of my goal is a culmination of my work through a published ?Shop? page. I plan to have my web shop published by late July 2024. To notably celebrate the Shop page, a debut party will be held on August 18. This also gives me a hard deadline to complete the project. I will have been successful when I am able to edit my artwork to be print-ready, when I have a stock of prints ready for sale on my website and in person, and when I have my ?Shop? page published. Connecting to new viewers through my website will be a further testament to my success. This is because it will prove my acumen in communicating my statement to viewers. To debut my website shop, I will create social media stories, email notifications, and host a gallery party at my house. I hope to sell 10 prints through these initial efforts and get 5 more Instagram followers.
