Our work is always to further our mission of providing opportunities to hear, learn and perform orchestral music in Itasca County. Outcomes include: 1) Growth of the audience. Goal of 500 in person 2) Providing a concert that is engaging, enjoyable and technically accurate 3) Providing a growth opportunity for musicians 4) Strengthening community 5) Increasing and diversifying our local musician participation 6) Improving our marketing materials and online presence -400 You Tube concert views -Selection of this concert for inclusion on Minnesota Public Radio (MRP) MRP has reached out to community orchestras to play pieces performed by community orchestras throughout the state with their Regional Symphony Project. There may also be a video component on their website. We want to invest in quality sound recording and videography that would result in a recording with audio quality sufficient for broadcast statewide. (Keith would love this so much!) To improve survey response rate, surveys will be entered into a drawing for two free tickets to an IOS performance. We will have poster size paper in the lobby requesting comments at reception following the performance. Qualifiable Ticket sales - We are hoping to achieve 500 (health risk permitting) We usually have 100% positive feedback. An exceptional performance tends to have better survey participation. An increase of 10% in surveys will be considered success. Increases in comments on YouTube and number of local participants. Qualitative Audience responses are helpful, but the opinion that the leadership most highly values is that of Swanson himself. The video production of the May 2021 concert allowed Swanson to review the concert. He sent the concert link colleagues and listened with a critical ear 20 times. His conclusion was ?It was damn good.? A primary goal is to have this be a concert Swanson is proud of.
