Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The Rock County Historical Society has no past history of art programs, but we hope to change that. We have many works from local artists that can be showcased. This project will provide a look into the history of artists in Rock County while promoting the idea that art can heal and empower people who are marginalized as well as open access and opportunities to explore art as a vehicle for change. It will also give participants hands-on experience in the arts as well as a close look at the thought processes and inspiration of professional artists. We will ask participants to complete a short survey and interview randomly selected individuals.
