ACHF Arts Access
Our intent is to get more children and adults interested in the arts and our history by telling this mural's story and sharing information about the artist and all the beautiful works she creates. We hope this mural will inspire community members to be involved in creating smaller murals and art pieces to be displayed in various locations around the community. We want to see this mural spark an interest in our local history for all ages, especially school-age kids. We hope the creation of this mural and of those coming in the next phase of our plan (additional smaller murals and art pieces) will continue to bring people to our beautiful little community. We plan to track exposure to our mural through visits to the Chamber and City websites via the mural's QR code. We will also track through Facebook, where people will be encouraged to share their posts when taking selfies and photographs of the mural. A ?Lunch and Learn' event will discuss how to drive traffic to the mural consistently and more effectively. Word of mouth among the retail community will be a great source of information regarding the mural and what visitors are saying about it. A few weeks after the official unveiling, we will survey community members using Facebook and surveys shared via email lists, asking their thoughts and feelings about the mural and for ideas about our plans for phase 2 (multiple smaller murals around town).
