Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

To partner with Cantus will be a new feature and musical treat as we explore Classics and Pops selections from vocal and symphonic repertoire. WASO musicians will experience artistic growth, expanded musical skills, and individualized technical training from every rehearsal, practice time, and the performance. The orchestra will be challenged and rewarded through their collaboration with the professional singing group. Contemporary composers from different genres will be featured on this concert and appeal to all ages and the ethnic diversity in our community. This musical package is sure to entertain, educate, and reward our audience by combining forces with Cantus' vocal excellence and the contrasting sounds of the symphony for a live concert. WASO will evaluate their rehearsals and concerts through written surveys taken by WASO musicians and concert attendees that give feedback about what was experienced. Results from these evaluations will be gathered, recorded and summarized by the WASO Leadership Team. An additional part of the success of this project will come from the number of people attending the project's concert. Results will aid WASO in determining future endeavors and guide future decisions for their organization based upon the feedback received from these surveys.
