Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Our objectives for this project encompass: - Hosting two listening sessions to actively engage the community and uncover untold stories, thereby fostering stronger connections among community members through shared storytelling and mutual understanding. - Generating enthusiasm for public art within our community and creating a lasting legacy of public art that will inspire, connect, and beautify the community for years to come. - Crafting a visually captivating mural that elevates the community's aesthetic appeal, enriching its cultural vibrancy and charm. - Enhancing the quality of life for community members by instilling a sense of pride and attachment to their surroundings. We will gauge our success once the mural has been brought to life. While it may appear as a straightforward response, the creation process of this is equally significant to the finished work. Success lies in nurturing the collaborative relationship between the artist and our community, with a vision of integrating artists as cherished contributors to our cultural fabric. This relationship will sustain our initiative with mutual support from all corners of the community. The success of this project is contingent on the establishment and growth of community involvement. This includes the facilitation of listening sessions, participation in the mural painting process, and the grand celebration of its completion. After completion, we will distribute surveys to gather feedback from both the artist and the community members who played pivotal roles in its creation. We will use their insights to evaluate whether we have made significant strides towards achieving our definition of success.
