Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Goal statements: Our August 2024 festival week will include at least four public performances: a mainstage concert at UMD's Weber Hall; an outreach concert at Essentia Hospital, for an in-person audience and streamed to patients' rooms; and at least two additional outreach performances, including at one or more nursing homes and at the Lake Superior Youth Chorus summer program. The festival week will also include a house concert for a small, invited audience of potential financial supporters of future DCMF seasons. Measurable outcomes: We will perform for audiences at Essentia Hospital, UMD's Weber Hall, and at least two other outreach venues. We will increase our Weber Hall attendance from approximately 180 attendees in 2023 to 200 or more this season. Our house concert and other events will lead to monetary donations of $100 or more from at least 10 individuals to help support future seasons. We will track the measurable outcomes just listed. In addition, our 2024 festival week will be a success if we have moved audiences both in and beyond the concert hall. If audience members and Essentia and Weber Hall administration again leave the events eager for next year's festival, we will have met our goals. To evaluate that, we will offer a post-festival survey to solicit reactions to the programming.
