For many audience members, WASO performances are the only opportunity to experience live orchestral music. The orchestra encourages and disseminates the appreciation and knowledge of orchestral music in the community. It is important for the young musicians in our area to have a chance to perform for their community and receive the local recognition they deserve in the Young Artist Competition.
