ACHF Cultural Heritage
This project promotes diversity and inclusivity in the arts and music scene by engaging with and showcasing the music of a Central American composer. By providing a welcoming and inclusive space for community members to come together and enjoy music, this project helps to build a sense of community and connectedness. Additionally, we hope the project will promote greater cultural awareness, contribute to a more vibrant and skilled arts community by building the skills and knowledge of the participants and the composer. We hope to facilitate a shift of attitude and behavior of our membership and our audience toward greater equity. The project will also improve our capacity to serve our community, expand our membership, and deepen our impact, contributing to a more vibrant and sustainable arts ecosystem. We will conduct observations of behavior and interactions during the project to assess changes in engagement or participation. We will also seek feedback from community partners, including local organizations and community leaders, to evaluate the project's impact on the broader community and identify opportunities for improvement. We will administer surveys to all participants, audiences, and artists after the project to measure changes in awareness and knowledge of choral music. We will analyze the results of these surveys and observations to determine the success of the project and make any necessary adjustments to enhance its impact.
