Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Our community does not have any community theater or children's theater, so this will be one small step in filling the artistic void in our town. The Friends of the Edgerton Public Library board is committed to literacy and all things related to expanding the humanities and arts in our community, and we are excited to bring Missoula Children's Theater to town. We expect this theater residency week will be the first full fledged theater production for many of our area youth and will provide them with opportunities to sing, act, and perform, building self confidence and theater skills as well as team work and perseverance as they work to produce a musical adaptation of "Little Red Riding Hood" for two live community performances. After the production of "Little Red Riding Hood," the Friends of the Edgerton Library Board will create a Google survey to assess the value the production provided the community. The survey will be sent to participating families as well as to community members who attended the performance via an email (participating families), a link on the program (audience members), and on social media (all community members). These surveys will include questions which attempt to gauge participants' skills gained and the community's level of appreciation and support for local children's theater. These surveys will help determine if our goals for the project have been met and when future productions will occur.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Glitch Art is Dead 2022, the third iteration of this roving art exhibit was a full success. 3 artists from Europe visited Granite Falls as well as about 15 artists from around the United States. Between the exhibit opening night and the workshops about 100 people viewed the exhibit or interacted with the installations or classes. The workshops featured top artists from around the world, respected academics in the field of New Media and local music and video performers. Impact was determined by in-person attendance to the opening night exhibition and the workshops, and by that measure we did fairly well. .
