Measurable Outcome(s)

AirSpace Minnesota achieved its short-term target for this project, which was to build capacity in its project partners to create quality interpretive programs that achieve target audience outcomes. Participants from the following organizations contributed to the planning process: AirSpace Minnesota, NWA History Centre, Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame, Minnesota Air National Guard Historical Foundation, Wings of the North, and the Minnesota Aviation History and Education Centre. Members of each group gathered in November 2016 for an introduction to exhibit planning, presented by Museology, and provided input to choose the exhibit topic (navigation), shape outcomes and key messages, and build the object list with items from each organization's collections. Museology produced preliminary documents and gathered input from partner organizations to incorporate into the final product. Each partner received a copy of the final exhibit plan.

Once the exhibit plan is implemented, ASM is positioned to achieve its intermediate and long-term goals: better access to research and source information about Minnesota aviation and aerospace innovation history and positioning ASM as the community resource for Minnesota aviation and aerospace innovation history.
