ACHF Arts Access ACHF Cultural Heritage
The expected outcome is to gain the deeper understanding of the role and power of narrative as a community practice in order to identify connections and to complete my novel that focuses on the complex subject of race and ethnicity. Having a manuscript (novel) that is ready to be submitted for a publication will be a method to assess the outcome. Another method is to collect surveys from the writers who participated in Immigrant Voice project.
I gained both a deeper understanding and awareness of the power of narrative, and I have become more committed as a writer and the educator of writing.
