Enhanced Shared Technical Services 2019 - $3,325,000 the first year and $4,275,000 the second year are for accelerated implementation, including local resource protection and enhancement grants and statewide program enhancements of supplements for technical assistance, citizen and community outreach, compliance, and training and certification.
This non-competitive CWF grant invests in building the capacity of NPEA (TSA) Joint Powers Boards to increase the capacity of soil and water conservation districts to provide technical and engineering assistance to landowners.
Funds were used to maintain qualified engineering staff with appropriate technical ability or certifications to work with landowners to implement conservation practices within Area 3 TSA. Maintain a licensed Conservation Engineer. Provided engineering service to member SWCDs. Employed on P.E., on E.I.T, and three engineering technicians.
