ACHF Arts Access
To create a site specific percussive dance/music/theater adventure and an exploration that will allow about 1500 audience members to participate in a way that is fun and non-threatening. At the same time, it will allow them to experience virtuosic performances by 16 of the area’s finest artists. We will use feedback from the Festival's director, audience feedback and artist feedback for our evaluation. We will also review video documentation of the show.
Creation of a rich and unique work developed and performed by a diverse group of 20 artists. Audience participation via dancing, singing, walking from place to place, taking part in some scenes, and solving the mystery as part of the event. There were 10 performances reaching 1,700 people. This was the most popular show of the Ordway’s 2017 Flint Hills International Children’s Festival.
