150th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address
Attendees will learn about the historic day of November 19, 1863 and the significance of the Gettysburg address; they will learn about the Battle of Gettysburg from the circumstances that led to it, to its conclusion at Pickett's charge; and examine the significance of the speech that day in 1863 to 2013.
Only 45% of those in attendance were very likely to recommend the program to others and 64% felt the program was excellent. Comments included the following: He did a beautiful job of making it interesting for adults and children alike; Covered a lot of battles good for military folds, but I feel asleep; It helped to better understand the facts of that time that I had heard about in school.
