Artist Initiative
ACHF Arts Access
Thousands of Minnesotans will engage with the artwork through a series of public screenings of the film. I intend to hold a minimum of 10 screenings in 2013 in Minnesota, many at the schools and community centers featured in the film, as well as other arts and public venues. For evaluation, I'll track the number of attendees. 2: This project depends on the professional artwork of several Minnesota artists who are being employed on the project. I will hire 8-12 Minnesota artists to work on the film. I will provide them with verbal evaluations of their work. In addition, part of the screening and exhibition plan includes revenue-generating opportunities to support the work.
We have held and scheduled five screenings in Minnesota and are in process of scheduling five more. 900 people have seen or will have seen the film by April at these screenings. We expect 1,000 more at the next five in Spring and Summer. 2: I was able to hire seven Minnesota artists to work on the film during this grant cycle and provided them verbal evaluations of their work. I am also in process of securing revenue generating screenings of the film.
