ACHF Arts Access
We will be tracking attendance at our events and surveying businesses and residents in the area to capture any changes in traffic levels or comments they hear from their customers/constituents. We will construct an evaluation form for the participating artists to help us evaluate our project communications, expectations and execution from their point if view. We also hope to encourage the use of this public exhibition space project model to be used in other communities, possibly as another option for traditional mural space. We will promote/share this idea with other cities and track whether it can spread successfully and what modifications to the plan are needed to accommodate a different community. We plan to engage one of our board members, Christa Otteson (she has a specialty in survey and evaluation design), to design a survey tool we can utilize for measuring the impacts of this project on our community. Because we are not complete in our project planning, developing that tool at this stage would be premature. We anticipate the components of this project will be changing throughout the planning process, and we will need our tool to be customized to capture the data we want according to the way the project unfolds.
We have a planning document that contains our learnings and records the decisions we made along the way. We will continue to add to this document as we proceed through our pilot project of the first exhibit.
