Project Details
The Old Wadena Rendezvous and Folk Festival is a multi-disciplinary arts festival featuring acoustic music, dance, storytelling/theatrics, and folk and fine art. The 2013 Festival, August 10 and 11, is at Old Wadena Historic County Park. Its purpose: to encourage the folk and performing arts.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

1. A successful 2-day Rendezvous and Folk Festival will be held with at least 35 artists/artisans/performers with at least 500 visitors in attendance. 2. Various aspects of the event will be evaluated and analyzed in the categories listed below. 3. The overall event will maintain the quality standards of entertainment, education and folk art demonstrations of past years' events while staying within the projected budget.1. A count of all persons attending the event will be made at the gate. 2. A satisfaction survey will be made, tabulated and analyzed. 3. At the September 2013, board of directors meeting, a formal event evaluation will be made covering the following categories: a. audience, b. quality of performances, c. foods and refreshments, d. financial, e. facilities, toilets, transportation of visitors, f. improvements needed for the future. This provides the basis for the final report to Five Wings.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Successfully presented a traditional folk festival. Majority of participants indicated a positive experience, but attendance was lower than previous year.
