1. Minnesota Center Chorale reaches an audience of 350, surpassing the attendance figures from our last choral masterworks concert with orchestra, performed at Saint Augustine Church in May 2011. 2. Audience member provide verbal feedback to singers, board members, and directors during the post-concert reception. 3. A minimum of 15% of patrons attending complete and submit paper surveys providing Minnesota Center Chorale with better knowledge of how to serve them. 4. The patron survey provides Minnesota Center Chorale with demographic information, patron opinions, and general concert feedback. 5. Minnesota Center Chorale provides 20 free concert tickets for people with severely limited sight or total blindness and 30% attend the performance. 6. Saint Johns Boys’ Choir director Andre Heywood provides feedback evaluating his choir’s collaboration with Minnesota Center Chorale.1. Minnesota Center Chorale keeps track of ticket sales by collecting ticket stubs from all attending. Stubs will inform Minnesota Center Chorale of what percentage of the audience are adult, senior, student, and child. 2. Minnesota Center Chorale singers will report patron feedback to Ms. Jody Martinson. Ms. Martinson and board members will discuss verbal feedback at the April 2013 board meeting. 3. The total number of attendees will be cross-referenced with the total number of surveys collected. 4. Survey responses are analyzed by Minnesota Center Chorale’s Board, Artistic Director, Operations Coordinator, and Grant Coordinator. 5. Free ticket vouchers provided to community members with limited to no sight will be collected by volunteer ticket takers. The number of tickets provided compared to the number collected will provide Minnesota Center Chorale with knowledge of the success of this particular outreach. 6. Ms. Martinson gathers feedback from Andre Heywood regarding the experience the boys had singing with Minnesota Center Chorale on “The Promise of Living.”
1. Minnesota Center Chorale reached an audience of 453, surpassing our goal of serving an audience of 350 by 29%. Minnesota Center Chorale kept track of ticket sales by collecting ticket stubs from those attending. 2. Audience members provided verbal feedback to singers, board members, and directors during the post-concert reception. Minnesota Center Chorale singers reported patron feedback to Jody Martinson, allowing Ms. Martinson to bring any information before Minnesota Center Chorale's board of directors. 3. Minnesota Center Chorale cross-referenced the number in attendance with the number of surveys submitted to find 2% of patrons in attendance completed and submitted surveys. 4. The patron survey provided Minnesota Center Chorale with a minimal amount of demographic information, patron opinions, and general concert feedback. The information Minnesota Center Chorale did receive was analyzed by Minnesota Center Chorale's Artistic Director and Operations Coordinator. 5. Minnesota Center Chorale provided 20 free tickets for people with severely limited sight or total blindness to attend the performance. Minnesota Center Chorale evaluated the success of this outreach by counting the number of complimentary tickets redeemed. Of the 20 complimentary tickets, 19 were redeemed. 6. Ms. Martinson gathered feedback from Andre Heywood regarding the experience the Saint Johns' Boys’ Choir had collaborating with Minnesota Center Chorale on “The Promise of Living.” Mr. Heywood felt honored for his Boys' Choir to be present at the performance. He specifically chose pieces to compliment Minnesota Center Chorale's repertoire. Mr. Heywood explained how the Boys' Choir benefited from collaborating with Minnesota Center Chorale since they rarely have the opportunity to partner with an adult choir.
