Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Minnesota artists are able to expand or further develop their artistic abilities through varied learning opportunities. Minnesota artists are able to develop business skills needed to support their professional art work. More Minnesotans are able to engage in or with the work of Minnesota artists.

Measurable Outcome(s)

1) I was able to produce a body of work that using letterpress type and stell dyes on paper and metal. I was able to use letterpress printing through the help and expertise of local printshops, the use of their type and the purchase of my own type. I was able to spend a good deal of time developing these skills. 2) The work is of very good quality as compared to the teachings and evaluations of local letterpress printers. 2: 1. The work was shown at a Saint Cloud Art Crawl and I plan to include the work in future exhibitions with national galleries. 2. Reception at the art fair was overwhelmingly positive and my gallery in Dallas, Texas has shown interest in showing similar work in 2014.
