Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Minnesota artists are able to expand or further develop their artistic abilities through varied learning opportunities. More Minnesotans are able to engage in or with the work of Minnesota artists.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The opportunity to develop a detailed curriculum to teach my inverted dance vocabulary is even more helpful than anticipated. I have so much confidence in teaching this work, and already had an opportunity to teach at a regional college and have more planned. The artists that attended the classes gave me significant feedback for me to evaluate my class plans. The majority of the artists attended classes multiple times on an ongoing basis. 2: About 60 artists total had the opportunity to participate in my classes. 40 of those were at a college workshop, 20 were participants in my ongoing classes. Over half of the ongoing class participants attended regularly. About 200 adults attended a small scale performance that highlighted my inverted dance vocabulary using professional dancers that attended the classes. There are also several opportunities already lined up or currently being planned for 2014 college workshops and public performances. These numbers are from observation at classes and the performance and my class records.
