Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
Minnesota artists are able to expand or further develop their artistic abilities through varied learning opportunities.
Measurable Outcome(s)
I generated six new picture book manuscripts during the grant year, as I set out to accomplish in my proposal. After drafting each manuscript, I sent it to Phyllis Root for critique. I revised each piece using her comments. I started submitting this new work to editors and agents. Two of the manuscripts that resulted from this project are what I would consider my best new work, and I have been submitting them widely. The other four are an experiment with a series, which I am still working on.
