Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Minnesota artists are able to expand or further develop their artistic abilities through varied learning opportunities. More Minnesotans are able to engage in or with the work of Minnesota artists.

Measurable Outcome(s)

I'm happy to say that I not only completed the manuscript, UNCLE JANICE, but I sold it to a major publishing company, Doubleday, an off-shoot of Random House and Penguin Books. 2: I was able to share portions of my work with fellow Minnesotans at two separate readings, the first in Minneapolis at a launch party for an issue of the University of Minnesota's literary journal, DISLOCATE, and later in St Paul with former Minnesota State Arts Board grant recipient Ethan Rutherford. Once the book comes out, I will continue to give local readings.
