Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Partnerships are developed between social service organizations and arts organizations to better serve underserved communities. Sample of the evaluation results: 90% of the senior participants thought the program positively influenced their physical health. 80% of the senior participants thought the program helped to improve their mood. 100% of the senior participants rated the overall quality of the program to be good-excellent.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The improvement of the quality of life of our neighborhood elders through arts programming was our primary outcome. We used a pre and post assessment questionnaire which the senior participants completed. This assessment was developed by the Kairos Dance Theatre. It covered areas of overall health (both physical and mental) and also what each person hoped to gain from the experience. Eighteen of the thirty-three participants completed the pre-assessment and ten completed the post-assessment. 2: The improvement of the quality of life of our neighborhood elders through arts programming was our primary outcome.
