Off-Leash Area will increase connection, participation, and visibility with the disability community, an important and growing constituency of the organization, through its 2025/26 core community performing arts programs: Off-Kilter and the Neighborhood Garage Tour.

Frank Byrns: Byrns is a forestry specialist and professional artist who sculpts highly figured wood into free-flowing biomorphic forms. He has received Arrowhead Regional Arts Council and Minnesota State Arts Board grants, won various awards, exhibited nationally, and had an acquisition in the Tweed Museum of Art. ; Carol Chase: Chase recently retired from teaching at St. Catherine University. She received her MFA from California College of the Arts (Oakland, CA) and her BA from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Chase has received several awards and grants, including a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Assistance grant in 2013 and an artist's residency at Atelier Hoherweg in Dusseldorf, Germany in 2006. From 2004-2008, she was the curator and program coordinator of Painting's Edge, a contemporary painter's workshop in Idyllwild, CA. Her work can be found in numerous public collections, including Mayo Clinic, IBM, and the Federal Reserve Bank; she has been represented by Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis since 1985. ; Arlinda Henderson: Henderson is a recently retired post-secondary fine arts teacher. She holds a MFA in painting, a MPhil in aesthetic theory and criticism, and a BS in K-Adult art education. She has also studied at Plymouth University in the United Kingdom. Henderson received a Graduate Scholar Award at the Image Conference and was granted a Pulse Laser Artist Residency at the Center for Holographic Arts at Ohio State University (Columbus, OH). She has presented her research in Plymouth, England; Saint Petersburg, Russia; Berkeley, California; and Paris, France.; Ivete Martinez: Martinez is the executive director and founder of Med City Art Festival (MCAF). She is a board member and grand coordinator of Gallery 24 (G24) and a member of SEMVA Art Gallery and Mantorville Art Guild. Martinez has served as a panelist for regional arts councils and has a passion for giving new opportunities to artists. She established the outreach programs for G24 and created the three main programs at MCAF. She has a MA in philosophy from Oxford University (Oxford, England) and a MA in psychology from Stanford University (Stanford, CA). Martinez is a visual artist who has exhibited internationally. Martinez is working on a piece to exhibit at the ArtBox in Zurich, Switzerland.
ACHF Arts Access
Artists will be empowered in creating and performing their own work, and audiences' experience will be enhanced through that diversity. Outcome will be evaluated through encounters with the audience, feedback with artists, meetings with the OLA Board, OK Leadership Team, and NGT hosts; survey data, box office data, and more.
