Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Our primary goals for this project are to 1) increase community participation and ownership in the overall vision and operations of a creative Mainstreet building; 2) continue building community confidence in The YES! House; and 3) develop more sustainable operations for volunteerism, community engagement, and arts venue stewardship. We expect that initiating this new advisory council will have the following impacts: council members will feel engaged and responsible for the vision of the YES! House; fundraising, overall event attendance, and volunteer support will increase due to more awareness and connection to The YES! House; and our organization will have the necessary information for making plans and decisions about the future of The YES! House programming and operations. We will measure success by active participation at meetings, thoughtful feedback received from community members and council members, informal and formal conversations with council members, and post-engagement surveys with council members.
