Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Musicians will experience artistic growth, expanded musical skills, and individualized technical training from every rehearsal, practice time, and performance of the repertoire programmed for this concert. The orchestra will be challenged and rewarded through their collaboration with a talented international pianist performing Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 2 in C minor, op. 18. Our audience will gain a greater understanding and appreciation for famous orchestral pieces from the Romantic and Contemporary musical history eras. This musical package is sure to educate our audience by performing famous orchestral works by masterful composers through a live orchestra for an in person concert on the Worthington stage. WASO will evaluate their rehearsals and concerts through written surveys taken by WASO musicians and concert attendees that give feedback about what was experienced. Results from these evaluations will be gathered, recorded and summarized by the WASO Leadership Team. An additional part of the success of this project will come from the number of people attending the project's concert. Reserved seating tickets will be sold through Memorial Auditorium's Box Office allowing WASO to have accurate attendance numbers and the ability to learn about the demographics of ticket holders.
