ACHF Arts Access
At the conductor chats offered prior to each concert and short discussion from the podium between pieces, audience members will gain a greater understanding of the music composed and performed by HSO at the winter concert. For this concert series, Conductor Ryan Webber will offer insights into the program, discussing the featured repertoire and give context to the music. It is the intention of the "Conductor's Chats" and other remarks from the conductor that listeners feel a connection with the interviewees and gain a greater understanding of the pieces, the performers and how to understand the music on the program than what they would just get from the program notes. By taking a head count, either directly or virtually, we will know how many participants attended each of the concerts. A survey will be inserted into each program booklet or available electronically for people to fill in and return after the concert. In addition, a head count will be taken of participants attending the "Conductor Charts" prior to each concert. Questions pertaining to the "Conductor Chats" have been added to the survey included in each program booklet, printed and virtual.
