ACHF Arts Education
We want fiddling and other traditional music to once again be embedded as a shared community experience. Special workshops will give musicians new skills and heighten their identity as musicians and also develop the capacity for guitar, mandolin, bass, piano and ukulele accompaniment by offering instruction, providing resources (books) with chords and bass lines and opportunities to play informally. Specific outcomes include: At least ten new participants, being asked to play at five or more new venues or events, adding two new large group performances (Celtic Music in March, Bluegrass and folk music in October), and increasing the number of bass players, guitarists, mandolin players, and ukulele/banjolele players. We will track participants, instruments, and increase343s in skills and repertoire.
