Our goal is to involve the public in creating comedy and bring a different type of immersive entertainment to Granite Falls and to the Meander Opening Night event. This family friendly show will feature local people and share local stories in a fun and creative way. It is a way for the community to connect with each other, whether they are directly involved in the performance, or enjoying it as a guest. It also brings a new type of theater art experience to the Granite Area Arts Council. Another goal is to bring in members of the community interested in improv sketch comedy, to give them the opportunity to be a part of the process from start to finish. Feedback will come from the participants of the workshops as well as the numbers attending and comments from the October performance. We will track attendance numbers and have opportunities for written feedback and comments for participants and audience members.
