ACHF Arts Access
DAI continues to be focused on the impact of art on artists, patrons, and community both directly and indirectly. This includes enhanced understanding of a subject matter or topic, fostering critical thinking, a sense of empowerment, community building, not just geographically but culturally. This can extend to personal growth, action, change, reflection and self-awareness. Overall, the goal is to create meaningful and impactful experience that contributes to individual learning and growth, as well a broader societal change or progress. Attendance both for exhibits and events will be a key indicator of successful engagement. Visitor feedback and community interaction will be gathered and analyzed for reaction to the activities and exhibit. Key indicators will include requests for more exhibits from these particular artist or similar future exhibit themes, increased awareness of subjects, new or renewed interest in DAI. Increase in memberships, requests to be on DAI mailing list will also be monitored as well as geographic location of visitors. Any media coverage before and after the exhibits will be an indication of influence. Artist satisfaction will also be an evaluation tool to gage the internal success.
