Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The Board and employees of the BSO, informed by the information gathered and processed through the data collection phase of the evaluation, will feel empowered as a group to identify and recommend effective additions and changes to staffing levels, work relationships, and work assignments that will add to the organization's resiliency. They will also gain a fuller understanding of the functional relationships within the BSO and the nature of work performed in the various operational areas. Evaluation methods include interviews of all board members and staff during year 1. Results will be compiled, reviewed, and analyzed by several people drawn from the Exec and Grants committees. Their findings will be reported to the Board immediately following year 1, who will then conduct a meeting to develop recommendations for board actions in the form of policy and/or structural development. Should such development be deemed premature, additional interviews may be necessary during year 2.
