Funds will assist Samantha Fairbanks to create and host a guided painting workshop series featuring the cultural values of the 7 Grandfather Teachings of the Anishinaabe culture in Bemidji and Redby.

ACHF Arts Access
As a result of these guided painting sessions, Bemidji community members and Red Lake Nation members ages 10-17, and any other participants, will have an increased confidence in painting and are comfortable painting at home through learning different painting techniques as well as set up and clean up. The evaluation methods will be administered via surveys conducted on members of the Bemidji and Red Lake Nation members ages 10-17 pre and post session. It will measure their confidence with painting, and their ability to set up/clean up and store materials at home.
