Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The opportunity to work on the TC2 loom and attend the Praxis and Practice?A Digital Weaving Conference will allow me to achieve the following goals: - Learn with and work on the high specialized and technical digital jacquard TC2 Loom. - Gain advanced technical knowledge regarding the drafting, design, and production of weaving on a jacquard loom. - The ability to create digital textiles on the TC2 Loom. - Challenge my understanding of what types of textiles can be created on a digital jacquard loom. - Create unique textiles that are made using both traditional and digital weaving processes. - Explore the possibilities of weaving in a digital jacquard loom. - Engage with other weavers to learn more about their work and to connect with the greater community around around digital weaving. Measurements for success in my project can be seen below: - Creating textile(s) on the TC2 loom. - Use Photoshop to create digital weaving files for weaving on the TC2 loom. - Conclude the project with an understanding of the weaving on the TC2 jacquard loom. - Successfully explore creative and experimental based ideas in the digital weaving community. - Participate in the "Praxis and Practice?A Digital Weaving Conference" allowing me to connect with other ideas and makes in the field of digital weaving.
