Funds will provide operating support to Bemidji Community Theater over a two year period.

Regional artists will have an additional venue for performance, classes and training. Our venue is smaller, more intimate for the audience and the actors. It is easier for productions to build and rehearse, as everything is in the same place; we don't have to haul supplies from another building. We hope to provide a venue for other theater groups to present their productions, as we are no longer limited in the number of plays we can do in a year. Evaluation methods include surveys administered after each production to measure the use of our facility by those producing the plays/musicals. We hope to create an opportunity for more engagement in theater by other groups in the community.
