Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this program, school aged children at Warroad Elementary, along with the greater Warroad community will be exposed to unique African music, instruments and culture that would not have been an opportunity otherwise. Evaluation will occur through a final performance at the end of the week long residency, along with multiple informal discussion with artist and non-artist peers in the school district and within the community.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Measurement has not been a core strategy for the artist-in-residence project at Warroad Schools with Sowah. While it is important to increase the community exposure through this work, our sole focus is not on increasing the number of concert attendees fro
