Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

SCSO will broaden its impact through education, relatable and diverse programming, publicity, and collaborations. SCSO musicians will be deeply engaged in the work of the SCSO. SCSO will become more financially stable.; The SCSO will present 9 high-quality orchestral concerts. 110 musicians will rehearse and perform varied repertoire for area audiences. Educational services will include concerts for youth, a Young Performer Competition, and pre-concert discussions. Activities and governance will align with the 2023-2026 strategic plan, and income and expenses will meet budget expectations. 1. Audiences will be counted. 2. Evaluations will be completed by stakeholders and analyzed by board and staff. 3. Audience response will be observed and recorded. 4. Verbal, photo, and written feedback will be collected and analyzed. Changes in attitude and understanding can be evaluated based on informal conversations with family and friends. 5. Concerts will be recorded. ; SCSO will measure attendance, count SCSO events outside the concert hall, collect and analyze survey responses and ticket sales data, count musician attendance and evaluate engagement using surveys, and audio or video record concerts.
