2022 - One Watershed One Plan (Sand Hill River WD)
Annie Felix-Gerth
(i) $2,000,000 the first year and $2,000,000 the second year are for assistance, oversight, and grants to local governments to transition local water management plans to a watershed approach as provided for in Minnesota Statutes, chapters 103B, 103C, 103D, and 114D.
Grantee submitted a detailed project plan and work plan. Key milestones include selection of a plan consultant; establishment of committees, notifications, and an initial planning meeting; creation of a draft plan; formal plan review and public hearing; approval of the plan by BWSR; local adoption; and grant reporting.
Measurable outcomes were consistent with the grant application. Sand Hill River Comprehensive Watershed Plan is adopted by all partnering local governments.
