Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We actively encourage patrons at all our sites to provide feedback about their experiences and to share this feedback not just with the Society but also with others in the community. We do not yet have a formal process to determine how this feedback shapes our planning, as our limited energies have been focused on ensuring our overall financial health and transparency. We look forward to building a better system for input to goals and strategies over time. As we mentioned above, we actively request feedback from our visitors and patrons, but are still in process to formalize a process for how this feedback reshapes our programming. We are continually approached by researchers, members of the general public, authors, teachers, and other community organizations for access to our collections. We also collaborate with heritage organizations throughout Cook County on programming, materials, and outreach. When possible, we also contribute collection items to online databases such as Minnesota Digital Library and share updates and communications with the Minnesota Historical Society.
