Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The goal of this project is to present two high-quality performances and restore our concert attendance to pre-pandemic times. These are the short-term measurable outcomes: 1. The orchestra will perform with well-balanced string sections and a full complement of wind instruments 2. Pride and gratification of musicians for the music performed, achieving artistic excellence 3. Post-pandemic attendance MSO will conduct a survey of musicians following the concerts. The survey will ask about the difficulty of the music, adequacy of rehearsal time, their perception of the quality of performance and degree of artistic excellence. The goal will be met if the outcome equals 75% or more of musicians reporting they believe the MSO provided high quality performances to the audience. The Project Director will track attendance at each concert. The third outcome will be met if attendance is at or above 100% of pre-pandemic audience attendance.
