Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Provide an entertaining experience for children and families, offering inexpensive tickets, or a "pay what you can" ticket price. Connect to the Deaf community with ASL interpretation for three performances; offer a comfortable, welcoming environment for people with autism, other disabilities with a sensory friendly performance. Sharing information on services for pets: spay, neuter, microchipping, adoption, pets for seniors. Gain members and volunteers. Promote camps, identify youth service learning groups to assist with AAHS projects. Venue: Lincoln Park Middle School in neighborhoods with high animal populations. Not everyone has easy access to AAHS in its location. Reach people who may not adopt, visit AAHS easily, or attend a fundraising event. Identify classrooms for humane education outreach. People can register for free microchip clinics in their neighborhood. Attendance is a measurable outcome. The number of tickets used will indicate if we have reached these audiences. AAHS will oversee marketing and social media. Tracking of the responses to the production notifications, "hits" on social media, Facebook page, number of tickets redeemed from community service groups will give us feedback and an indication of where people are coming from to see the production. Surveys of the audience, written or oral or online. (questions: which school do you attend, have you been to AAHS, do you have a pet needing a microchip, interested in camps, Youth Allies, volunteering? Attendance numbers at ASL interpreted performances and sensory friendly performance. Names and addresses of potential customers in need of services (microchipping, spay/neuter) Families interested in youth camps or AAHS visits to classrooms or afterschool programs. Parents may share the name of a teacher/coordinator to contact. If youth are interested in joining the Youth Allies group. If there are requests for humane education programs for youth and families within community organizations.
