Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Our initial goal is to revive and nurture watercolor artist participation in the area and build a community of practicing artists. Secondary, is the desire to help all artists improve their art skills and showcase the quality of their work. Framing for at least 25 pieces for the show will be subsidized by the grant and additional pieces framed at the participants' expense. The number of participants and the number of artists exhibited will initially indicate success. Public feedback and the number of pieces sold or marked NFS (not for sale) will also be a measure of value. Of greater value will be the feedback from the artists themselves and their expression of satisfaction/or not with their work and the process. But the longterm goal of developing a viable, healthy cadre of practicing artists cannot be measured for some time. Assessment 1: Narrative feedback from the artists evaluating their aha moments and suggesting improvements for future sessions. 2: Electronic responses a couple of weeks later to rate the process, facility, instruction, etc. 1-5 3: Number of new artists and known artists registering for each session 4: Number of pieces shown and sold or marked NFS( not for sale).
