Project Details

Fun in the Flatlands and Pioneer Days is an annual local community festival held in Ada, MN scheduled for September 9-11, 2022 with several different events during the weekend with Saturday, September 10 being the primary day for the festival.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this program, people of all ages will experience quality music experiences, learn how metal is forged into useful items by watching them being made and have hands on experience on learn how to basket weave and make succulent gardens. . Evaluation will occur with Ada Chamber of Commerce Board members attending and assessing the events, counting the audience, talking to attendees after the event and having a follow-up meeting after the events are over.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The Ada Chamber of Commerce observed all events. George's Concertina Band was amazing and had attendees truly enjoying their music. Raven Works Forge did interesting and informative demonstrations with fire and tools and was a great learning experience. . Elizabeth Rockstad's Basket Weaving Class offered hands on experience. .Sheila Capistran's Garden Art Class was a huge hit with a lot of participants. The band Short Notice played jazz music. They were a fantastic band with so much talent!
