Arts Learning Grant
Funds will assist Laporte school to hire musician Ross Sutter for an artist residency teaching students in grades 3, 4 and 5 to build simple musical instruments.

As a result of this program, participants in grades 3, 4, and 5 will experienced increased knowledge of stringed instruments and how to play them. Evaluation methods include the same set of survey and interview questions before the program begins and after it is finished to measure 3rd, 4th and 5th grade.student knowledge of a stringed instrument and playing a stringed instrument.
