Arts Ecosystem Grant

I have two goals for Coffee and Guitar in writing this grant. First, to ensure that as I document this ecosystem of guitar players I collect good and complete information and tell a compelling and engaging story. Measurable outcomes for this goal include: tools such as general interview questions, guide to research for upcoming guests, generating and editing transcripts, and a monthly task list/workflow to ensure I'm getting this work done effectively and efficiently. Second, to improve the production value of Coffee and Guitar videos and streamline their creation. The time it takes me each month to re-teach myself how to edit videos and actually do the editing is completely overwhelming and a significant roadblock to the sustainability of the show. Measurable outcomes for this goal will include: 2 or 3 professional quality 3-5 minute long videos of notable selections from each guest's performance and templates to help me quickly and easily create similar videos for future guests. I will know this project was a success when I am able to adequately pay guest musicians each month for their time and their performance without putting myself in financial stress. I will know the work was a success when I am able to share compelling quality content with my guests and their fans and see that they are excited to share it, too. I will really know that Coffee and Guitar is a success when I see those guests and their fans coming back to listen to and learn from other guests. This is how I'll know that Coffee and Guitar is effectively supporting, promoting, and engaging this ?mighty forest of great guitar players in northern Minnesota that stretches from the shore of Lake Superior to the headwaters of the Mississippi.?
