This program will absolutely ensure sufficient resources to sustain the arts and artists as it will allow me to continue making a living as an artist while bringing art supplies and extracurricular art instruction to students who otherwise have very limited art opportunities. I have been teaching all types of art classes for years. I have successfully completed 7 other ARAC projects and have collaborated with 8 different Community Education Departments to offer a wide variety of classes to their students. I have taught in-school classes that follow the Minnesota Art Standards, held enrichment classes for students and provided home school students with art instruction. I have successfully completed 6 rounds of Library Legacy programming for all ages. I have had large and small groups of all age levels of students and all artistic abilities. I will consider this program successful if I have 25-35 students attend 5 of the 6 sessions, have these students complete 50% of the at-home art work for which I provide instruction and have 75% of the students attend the exhibit of their art work with their family and friends.
