Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

A featured collaboration between Miles and Clinton will hone their skills producing music and video together and this release will elevate them on the state wide and national stage. By focusing on one easily attainable but intensive project they will both have a significant addition to their portfolios but also a challenge to push their art forms to the limits. Hosting Clinton in the converted silo will provide an excellent test for living with an artist on the property and exploring the limits of our performance and recording facility. By providing a public event I hope to introduce new and relevant types of art to the local community. I will look for a furthering of FNK's and Malion's artistic careers, a blue print and prototype for a small scale residency program, and a different type of art introduced to Southwest Minnesota.

Measurable Outcome(s)

This book was originally intended to be the final in the Woofy series. I have received so much positive feedback from parents and children on how much they love the books. I will, therefore, most likely collaborate with my content editor and illustrator on at least two more. The collaboration I have with them has been fantastic. The confidence I have gained as a published writer over the past two years has made me realize I am a great storyteller. I intend to use the skills and confidence gained to both write more books myself, and I would like to create and teach a workshop to aspiring writers of this genre. Plans are also in the works to co-facilitate a series of Children's Theatre workshops based on the book this summer.
