We have very specific goals for this project. The three goals of this project are as follows: Goal 1. Reflections Dance Company will provide a platform for performing artists to collaborate on an original production. We are giving performing artists a chance to be seen, heard, and appreciated. Goal 2. Reflections Dance Company will create an opportunity for the public to see the connections between math and movement. Our aim is to open people's minds to the myriad of ways math concepts can be represented and show the beauty in mathematics. Goal 3. "Math in Motion" will be a rewarding experience for both participants and audience members. RDC wants to showcase the creativity and hard work of the participants, and give the audience an uplifting celebration of art. Goal 1. This goal will be assessed by the number of collaborators who are involved in the project, as well as their feedback about the experience. We will send out a digital survey to the participants to be completed on their own time. Questions asked will include, "What types of collaboration did you experience?". Goal 2. This will be measured by a short survey that is given out during the performance to gather information about their responses to the connections between math and movement in the show. We will offer this as a comment card inserted in the program to be dropped into a collection box at the end of the performance. We will also follow-up with any emails that were provided by audience members during the ticketing process to gather feedback through a digital survey. Goal 3. As mentioned above, the comment cards and digital surveys will address the experiences for both participants and audience members. We will track responses, and tabulate these results in a spreadsheet.
