Rain Taxi champions aesthetically adventurous literature through programs that inspire connection and creativity between writers and readers; elevate criticism as an art form; celebrate diversity in all its aspects, including race, gender, sexuality, economic status, and artistic expression; uphold the art form of print while embracing the reach of digital media; and enhance the power of the word to enact change, encourage empathy, and engage community.
